My name is Darcey Mckinney. I'm a 33 year old designer who lives in Austin, Texas. I have a passion for cats, cycling, playing drums, and anything involving butter. Art has always been a constant love in my life. My dad was a sculpture major and heavily influenced
my love for creating at a young age. I was the student in class who couldn't get through a lecture without doodling all over their notes from start to end. Art has always felt like home to me and has helped me through the many ups and downs of my life. Using my artistic abilities as my career is what fullflls me, and I never want to lose sight of the blissful feeling that artistic "flow" provides me. I heavily gravitate towards illustration, typography and branding. I enjoy the process of conceptualizing ideas and making them into reality through visual design. I'm currently pursuing full-time job opportunities both in Austin or remotely and am eager to continue creating and working with a team whom I can collaborate and grow further with creatively.
