My name is Darcey Mckinney. I'm a designer who lives in Austin, Texas. I have a passion for cats, cycling, playing drums, and anything involving butter. Art has always been a constant love in my life. My dad, a sculpture major, heavily influenced my passion for creating at a young age. I was the student in class who couldn't get through a lecture without doodling all over their notes from start to end. Art has always felt like home to me and has helped me through the many ups and downs of my life. Using my artistic abilities as my career is what fulfills me, and I never want to lose sight of the blissful feeling that artistic "flow" provides me. I heavily gravitate towards illustration, typography, and branding. I enjoy the process of conceptualizing ideas and making them into a reality through visual design. I'm currently seeking full-time job opportunities in Austin or remotely
